In 1941 Rogers graduated from Southwestern with a master’s in religious education.  Now a retired airline pilot, Rogers is breaking world records.  At the USA Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston, Rogers broke world records for 90-94 year-old runners in the 800 meters and the mile.  His time in the 800 (4:19.97) improved upon the old record by nearly 31 seconds.
